Privacy Policy


This privacy policy will help those who wish to know how their Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is used online.

It is generally accepted that the definition of PII is "information that alone or with other information can be used to identify, contact or locate a person, or to identify an individual in a particular context. The following will help you understand how we collect, use, protect and —in general— how we handle your PII on the My CBS website.

  5. California Online Privacy Protection Act

    1. CalOPPA is the first state law in the United States to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. The scope of the law extends far beyond the California area and requires every person or business in the United States (and possibly the world) that operates websites that collect PII from a California consumer to conspicuously post a privacy policy that reflects exactly what information is collected, the individuals with whom the information is shared, and to comply with the privacy policy.   6. In accordance with CalOPPA, we agree to the following:

    2. A link to our privacy policy has been added at the bottom of our home page and all significant pages upon entering our website.
    3. Any link to our Privacy Policy includes the word 'Privacy', and such policy is easily found on most pages of our website.

  7. How does our Web site handle Do Not Track signals?

    1. We honor do-not-track signals and do not track, plant cookies or use advertising when the browser's Do Not Track mechanism is enabled.

    1. It is important to note that we do not allow behavioral tracking by third parties.
  9. COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act)

    1. When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13, COPPA, which is a U.S. Internet law, puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, the U.S. consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA rule which describes in detail what website and online service operators must do to protect the privacy and online safety of children.
    2. We do not specifically advertise to children under the age of 13.
  10. Fair Information Practices

    1. In the United States of America, the Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law and the concepts it includes have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the world. Understanding the Fair Information Practices Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to complying with the various privacy laws that protect personal information.
    2. To be in line with the Fair Information Practices, we will react by taking the following action if a data breach occurs:

      1. We will notify the user via e-mail within 7 business days.
    3. Likewise, we agree to the rectification principle, which allows individuals to have a right to seek legal enforcement rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law. This principle allows not only for individuals to have enforceable rights against data users but also for individuals to have recourse to the courts or the relevant government agency to investigate and/or prosecute non-compliance by data processors.
  11. CAN SPAM Act

    1. The CAN SPAM Act is the law that sets the rules for commercial e-mail, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have e-mails addressed to them terminated, and details strong penalties for violations.
    2. We collect your e-mail address to:

      1. Send you information, respond to your inquiries and/or other requests or questions.
      2. Process your purchase orders and to send you information and updates regarding your orders.
      3. We may also send you additional information regarding your product or service.
      4. To promote our products or services to our contact list or continue to send e-mails to our customers after the original transaction has been completed.
    3. In accordance with Can SPAM, we agree to the following:

      1. Not to use false or misleading expressions in the Subject line of our e-mails.
      2. Do not use false or misleading e-mail addresses.
      3. When applicable, identify the message as an advertisement in some reasonable way.
      4. Include the physical address of our business or Web site offices.
      5. Monitor third-party e-mail marketing services for compliance with regulations, if any are used.
      6. Promptly honor unsubscribe or unsubscribe requests. Such requests will be honored via email.
      7. If at any time you wish to unsubscribe and stop receiving correspondence from us, you may do so by writing to us at generalinfo@mycbs.biz. Send the email from the email address to which you receive our correspondence and in the "Subject" field put "Unsubscribe me from all correspondence". We will promptly remove you from our contact lists and you will no longer receive any correspondence from us.
